Before the Appointment
From the moment you contact our team here at Aesthetic Edge Sydney, we’ll endeavour to make your experience a positive one.
We’ll find a time that best suits you to visit our clinic so you can discuss your goals and options with one of our experienced Plastic Surgeons.
Our initial chat is a friendly and informal one to get to know you and understand your reason for seeking plastic surgery.
Consultation
Throughout your initial consultation, our Plastic Surgeons will take the time to get to know you better and understand your intentions for surgery.
They will work to realise your goals and expectations around plastic surgery so that they can provide you with the most suitable surgical or non-surgical procedure options.
We are here to support you with the information you need to make well-informed decisions.
Confirmation
Once your plastic surgeon has explained all your options to you, they will then give you the time you need to go home and consider your plastic surgery options carefully.
At this point, there will be absolutely zero pressure placed on you to proceed with plastic surgery. This is your decision and your decision only – and your surgeon will respect whatever choice you make.
Of course, if you have more questions, all you need to do is ask us.
Preparation
When you’ve made your final decision, your Plastic Surgeon will then begin to explain everything you need to know about your procedure.
Over several consultations, they will cover what to expect before, during and after your operation – as well as everything you need to do to prepare.
This is your opportunity to ask anything else you need to.
Surgery
On the day of your operation, you will arrive at the hospital fully prepared and with a complete understanding of what is going to happen that day and in the weeks that follow.
You’ll know what position to sleep in, how to manage any pain, what you can or can’t eat, who to call in an emergency, and much more.
Knowledge and preparation are key to a successful plastic surgery. So, we make sure you’re thoroughly prepared and comfortable.
Aftercare
After you’ve left the hospital, your Plastic Surgeon will make regular follow-up phone calls and meet with you on several occasions to keep a close eye on your recovery.
This will continue until you see the results that you and your surgeon are expecting to see from your plastic surgery.
Emergency and after-hours contact numbers will also be made available to you to immediately address any questions or concerns you may have in post-operative recovery.
